MOTU Track16 is a simple and elegant audio interface with professional studio-level recording quality. The ease of use of Track16 and the availability of numerous inputs/outputs will be indispensable for a personal studio. The microphone preamps have balanced input circuits for line signals. You can simultaneously record two microphones, two guitars (via Hi-Z inputs without a Di-Box), keyboards, a sound synthesizer module, and eight optical channels. Track16 has a simple 7-segment level indicator for the analog inputs and outputs. Just press the Meters button to switch between blue and white symbols. This feature makes monitoring the signal level simple and easy. Hybrid technology connects to any computer. Thanks to the Motu Hybrid interface technology, Track16 connects to any Mac or PC via FireWire or high-speed USB 2.0. The device can record and play back all channels simultaneously via USB 2.0, providing sufficient bandwidth even at 192 kHz. Track16 can be powered from the FireWire port connected to the computer, allowing you to work remotely from your own laptop.
