8 HDDA microphone/line preamps guarantee up to 57 dB of gain with almost zero noise and distortion. The audio path is characterized by high-performance components, such as the NE5532 amplifier, for rich high-quality sound without embellishment. The US-20x20 includes drivers for simple plug-and-play operation on Mac OSX and iOS devices, such as iPad, including ASIO compatible drivers for Windows. For connecting synthesizers, MPC machines, and controllers, there is MIDI in/out. Excellent audio performance and user-friendly interface make the US-20x20 suitable for any studio from home to mobile.

Ultra-HDDA Microphone Preamps

Ultra-HDDA microphone preamps are the most accurate, quiet, and sound much better compared to other interfaces in this price range. Significant gain of 57 dB makes them ideal for any type of microphones – dynamic, condenser, and ribbon. The design of the preamps is based on discrete components like in classic professional devices. They have an incredible dynamic range of -125 dB, meaning their noise level is practically below the audible range.

Other equally important specifications include: signal-to-noise ratio of 101 dB and NE5532 operational amplifier, which is installed in mixers and processors for their rich musical sound.

The microphone inputs feature professional XLR connectors with +48V phantom power for condenser microphones. TRS inputs are designed to receive line signals from processors and synthesizers. Inputs can be switched to instrument for direct recording of electric and bass guitars (only one XLR or 1/4" input can be used). Microphone preamps and A/D converters work together to transmit a cleaner signal regardless of the sampling frequency of 192 kHz or lower.

Direct monitoring function with zero latency
Even the most powerful computer and DAW can create a slight delay that can distract any vocalist or instrumentalist. The hardware monitoring function controls the input signal before it is sent to the computer.

The US-20x20 comes with a pre-loaded driver set for Mac and PC, as well as for tablets. Connect the interface to an iPad or other iOS device and use multi-channel and MIDI functions.
