PRESONUS Studio 1824 is an audio interface from the Studio line on a USB 2.0 bus. The interface is perfect for small studios, project studios, and home recording. Additionally, it can be used on stage during live performances.

The PRESONUS Studio 1824 audio interface operates from the USB port and provides audio quality of 24-bit/192 kHz. It features 18 input channels. The analog inputs are implemented on combo XLR/TRS connectors for recording microphones (dynamic, condenser), instruments (guitars, bass guitars), and line sources (drum machines, synthesizers, etc.). Presonus XMAX Class A preamps and premium converters are used as microphone preamps.

The device's dynamic range of 114 dB allows for the most accurate and natural capture of the entire harmonic component of the signal during recording without the slightest hint of distortion. The digital SPDIF input and output on RCA connectors are implemented on a separate cable that connects to the card via a special connector; MIDI connectors for connecting drum machines, synthesizers, and other MIDI-compatible devices are also installed on this cable.

Onboard the PRESONUS Studio 1824 are a pair of main monitor outputs on balanced TRS jacks and 8 additional line outputs on balanced TRS jacks. For monitoring purposes, there are two headphone outputs with separate level controls and a Cue Mix A/B function that allows you to switch between two monitor mixes.

Included with the audio interface is the Presonus Studio One digital studio, which is perfect for writing, recording, and processing your music on PC and Mac. Also included is the Studio Magic Plug-in Suite.

The audio interface easily integrates with the provided software: the Studio One digital audio workstation, as well as with virtually all music creation and recording programs for Mac and Windows platforms.
