Audio-Technica ATW-3110b is a wireless instrument/lavalier radio system. The package includes the ATW-3100b receiver and the ATW-T310b transmitter.
The receiver with two detachable antennas ATW-3100b from the Audio-Technica ATW-3110b package provides crystal clear sound and advanced automatic tuning. With a large operational range and excellent noise characteristics, it delivers the high sound quality and reliability needed for high-quality sound systems. Automatic frequency scanning and selection of the most suitable frequency for operation eliminates the need to manually search for free channels. The 25 kHz scanning range allows the system to easily find an open frequency in crowded radio frequency environments, while 9 preset frequency groups simplify the selection of used frequencies in a wireless multi-channel system. Flexibility in programming both the receiver and transmitter allows for configuring the wireless system for virtually any application. Among the features rarely found in other receivers are the high-frequency filter, hold function, adjustable noise suppressor, one-button mute on the transmitter, lock function for security, and input sensitivity control. The connectors on the rear panel include outputs on balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" TS Jack, as well as two standard BNC outputs for connecting antennas. The receiver complies with the half-rack standard and can be mounted in a rack with a mounting kit.
The ATW-3100b wireless receiver included in the Audio-Technica ATW-3110b can connect to a wireless microphone operating in the ranges of 482.000-507.000 MHz, 541.500-566.375 MHz, or 655.500-680.375 MHz. The receiver in a metal housing provides an automatic scanning function for selecting appropriate channels. All receiver configuration functions are controlled via controls on the front panel of the receiver. This is a diversity receiver with two independent internal sections that help automatically select the highest quality signal. The system is equipped with an advanced digital Tone Lock identification system to ensure that only the required wireless transmitter can be controlled by the receiver. The receiver continuously monitors and displays the battery life of the wireless transmitter, RF signal strength, and selection of section A or B. The receiver is powered by AC mains or a 12-18V/500 mA adapter.
The ATW-T310b transmitter included in the Audio-Technica ATW-3110b package is an instrument transmitter that is secured with a clip and has the capability to connect both low and high-impedance inputs, it has 5V phantom power, allowing the use of condenser and dynamic microphones, as well as instruments. The four-contact audio input connector type HRS is recessed to protect the connection from damage. The transmitter operates on two standard AA batteries and is equipped with high and low RF output signal settings. The low setting allows for up to two hours of additional battery life while maintaining a strong RF signal. The controls provide convenient access to various functions, including input audio signal level, mute, and frequency selection. The backlit LCD display provides access to a wealth of settings and information. The transmitter has a protective cover to prevent accidental pressing of controls. It is made of high-quality materials, has a removable pin antenna, and a battery compartment with a latch.
