Custom guitar effects from TC ELECTRONIC add magic to your sound, as they are borrowed from the most popular pedals in the TonePrint series: Hall of Fame Reverb and Corona Chorus, while the guitar DI output accurately preserves the signal all the way from the pedal to TC-HELICON PLAY ACOUSTIC.
The sound of resonating wood is what gives charm to the acoustic guitar, and this is where the BodyRez™ filter is important. The new and unique algorithm transforms the acoustic sound into the sound of a guitar with a pickup placed under the bridge. Well-tuned filters and fast-acting compression help eliminate piezo artifacts, making the sound of your guitar connected to an amplifier resemble that of a solid instrument. You can also manually adjust the equalizer, adding more or less BodyRez™.

TC-HELICON PLAY ACOUSTIC is as easy to operate as possible. Use the Up/Down footswitches or the central knob to easily switch between factory presets or use the Genre button to find presets of styles you like. Separate Vocal FX and Guitar FX buttons allow you to directly engage effects, which are also very easy and quick to edit. Create your own collection of favorite presets using the Favourite button for easy preset management during performances.

Mono XLR outputs, separate for vocals and guitar, will be a lifesaver for sound engineers in terms of setting up the overall mix. You can also switch the output settings to Stereo and create your own panoramic stereo mix.

HIT is a feature that will be needed for live performances when it is often important to add brightness to the vocals. Press the HIT button to instantly activate an effect (possibly even consisting of several), and create a quick A/B switching combination for each preset. Use this feature to create a dazzling vocal effect, say, in the chorus or to fade the effect in the verse – all at your discretion.
