Shure RPW116 (SM87A)

The Shure RPW116 interchangeable microphone element replaces a damaged or faulty element in any wireless microphone transmitter that uses the Shure SM87A condenser capsule. The microphone cartridge is fully compatible with Shure L, LX, T, EC, SC, UC, ULX, SLX, PG, as well as handheld wireless transmitters from the UHF and UHF-R, ULXD, QLXD, PGXD series.

The professional vocal condenser microphone SM87A is popular among many global stars. It is an improved model of the SM87 microphone, which has been slightly modified at the request of many performers, with a thicker body for a more comfortable grip. It features a smooth frequency response, specially tuned for warm and rich vocal and backing vocal sound. The supercardioid polar pattern allows for good sensitivity without acoustic feedback. The built-in windscreen reduces breath noise.
