Shure RPM626 Phantom Power Adapter

Microphone preamplifier for condenser microphones

Shure RPM626 is an inline microphone preamplifier that converts standard 48-volt phantom power from a mixer into 5-volt power required for the operation of compatible Shure condenser microphones. The device is designed for use with microphones that have a TQG (4-pin) or TA4F connector.

Purpose

RPM626 allows connecting Shure condenser microphones (headsets, lavalier mics, instrument microphones) to standard microphone inputs of mixers, audio interfaces, or cameras that provide 48V phantom power. The preamplifier converts the voltage and matches signal levels, ensuring proper microphone operation.

Key Features

  • Power Conversion - converts 48V phantom power to 5V needed for Beta, WL, PGA series microphones and others

  • Transformerless Design - provides low noise levels and high linearity

  • RF Filtering - built-in protection against radio interference

  • Compact Design - small housing with a clip for attaching to a belt or strap

  • Connectors - TA4F (TQG 4-pin) input for microphone connection, XLR output for connection to a mixer
