Sennheiser MKE Essential is a professional omnidirectional lavalier microphone designed for use with Sennheiser evolution wireless bodypack transmitters. The microphone is equipped with a KE 4 capsule featuring a unique umbrella diaphragm that prevents moisture and sweat from entering the microphone, ensuring reliable operation even with intensive use.

The omnidirectional polar pattern makes the microphone insensitive to the speaker's head turns and provides natural speech sound without proximity effect. The frequency range is 20 – 20,000 Hz, guaranteeing clear and intelligible voice transmission.

The microphone comes with a 1.6 m cable permanently attached to the head. Included is a windscreen MZW 1 that protects against breath and wind noise, as well as a clip MZQ 02 for clothing attachment. MKE Essential is compatible with all Sennheiser transmitters of the evolution wireless G3, G4, AVX, and SpeechLine Digital Wireless series.
