High sound pressure levels without distortion

The unique high-precision high fidelity modulation circuit ACT-7H freely handles sound pressure levels (SPL) up to 142 dB across the entire spectrum of sound frequencies from 50 Hz to 15 kHz (+1~-3 dB). At the same time, the coefficient of nonlinear distortion (THD) does not exceed 0.9%. Moreover, since the sensitivity of the modulator circuit is set in exact accordance with the sensitivity of the capsule, there is no need to adjust the microphone level to achieve optimal loudness and dynamic range. This technology provides clear and powerful reproduction of high frequencies, eliminating the need to reduce volume to avoid distortion. These capabilities are not easily found among the offerings of other manufacturers.

Innovative ACT function replacing traditional manual tuning
ACT-7H uses UHF carrier frequency synthesis based on phase-locked loop (PLL) principles. The carrier frequency of a conventional radio microphone is set manually. This tuning method is further complicated by the potential for error. To avoid such problems, MIPRO developed, patented, and first used the ACT function (automatic channel positioning) in its radio systems instead of conventional manual tuning. By pressing just one SCAN button on the receiver, these convenient and user-friendly radio systems automatically and quickly tune the operating frequency of the radio channel. Such instant and precise tuning helps avoid mistakes that are often made when manually tuning radio systems.
