The operation of the Focusrite Saffire PRO 24 is based on the integrity and accuracy of audio signal transmission. With two Focusrite preamps that have very low self-noise, the distortion of the input signal is minimal, and proprietary digital conversion and jitter elimination circuits JetPLL™ help maintain sound quality when transmitting signals between analog and digital paths.

Along with high-quality Focusrite preamps, the Saffire PRO 24 interface offers a variety of input/output options: two additional analog inputs, six analog outputs, ADAT inputs (for connecting devices that expand the interface's capabilities, such as the Focusrite OctoPre), stereo input and stereo output SPDIF, and two virtual "loopback" inputs for routing digital signals between software applications (for real-time audio recording). On the front panel of the Focusrite Saffire PRO 24, there are 5-segment LED indicators for each analog input, making it easier to monitor input signal levels.

The Focusrite Saffire PRO 24 comes with Saffire Mix Control software for managing the DSP mixer/router with 18 input and 8 output channels with zero signal latency. This program sets new standards for managing audio interfaces in this price range. It offers flexible routing and monitoring options for the Focusrite Saffire PRO 24 output channels, as well as intuitive one-click preset activation, significantly speeding up the setup process.

The Focusrite Saffire PRO 24 also includes an additional software package that allows you to start recording music immediately after purchasing the interface. This software package includes the latest version of the Focusrite Plug-in Suite, which will significantly enhance the standard effects set of your sequencer. The Focusrite Plug-in Suite includes the following VST/AU applications: compressor, reverb, gate, and equalizer.

Additionally, the software package includes the widely known Focusrite Xcite+ bundle. This includes Ableton Live Lite (for editing and recording audio, as well as for music creation), Novation’s Bass Station software synthesizer, and over 1 GB of free samples from "Loopmasters" and "Mike the Drummer".
