The beige DPA microphones 4166-OC-F-F00-ME with MicroDot connection combines the sound of the omnidirectional capsule d: fine 4066 and the Core amplifier in a lightweight headset. It can be used when the microphone needs to be quick, light, and when the person wearing the microphone should not feel its presence, such as in conference applications, broadcasting, and active performances.

The Core 4166 has a dynamic range 14 dB greater compared to the Legacy version and features an ergonomic design for comfortable placement. It easily adapts to any ear size and head shape while securely attaching and being nearly invisible. By rotating the boom and ear hook, the microphone can be used on either the left or right ear. Additionally, the connector detaches the cable from the microphone boom, allowing for quick replacement of damaged cables and/or use with wireless systems.
