Crown XTi 2002 Amplifier

Crown XTi 2002 is a professional dual-channel AB+B class power amplifier from Crown Audio. It is equipped with XLR (balanced) inputs and Speakon outputs.

The power output of the Crown XTi 2002 varies depending on the impedance of the connected speakers: up to 1000 W/channel @ 2 Ohms, 800 W/channel @ 4 Ohms, up to 475 W/channel @ 8 Ohms, 2000 W will be delivered by the amplifier when connecting a four-ohm load in bridge mode (where multiple amplifiers can be connected in line) and up to 1600 W with eight-ohm speakers in bridge mode. The proprietary PeakX+ limiters can be activated for maximum speaker protection, and there is also protection against radio interference. The front panel of the amplifier features LED indicators. The Subharmonic Synth section allows the user to select the operating frequency, filter type, and gain.

The Crown XTi 2002 has forced cooling (with the option to choose one of three fan speeds), allowing the amplifier to operate “in the field” even on hot summer days, and comprehensive protection against short circuits, overloads, idle operation, and power on/off peaks will prevent the amplifier from failing at the most inconvenient moment. The user can also programmatically monitor the current line voltage and the temperature of the built-in power supply.

Crown XTi 2002 is managed using the proprietary HiQnet System Architect software. 50 presets are available, selectable via buttons on the front panel: the name and parameters of the selected preset will be displayed on the multifunction built-in LCD screen.
