The ISOMAX choir microphone from Countryman is a very small cardioid condenser microphone with a wide response, designed for hanging above choirs, orchestras, or stage productions.

Unlike other choir microphones, the unique cardioid microphone Countryman Isomax 2 is designed to evenly capture the entire choir. This means that a singer in the front row does not overpower the back rows, and no one sounds like a soloist just because they are closest to the microphone.

It features a steel wire suspension that can be bent so the microphone can be directed in any direction, and a 50-foot specially designed highly durable cable that keeps the microphone in place over time and with temperature changes.

The ISOMAX choir microphone uses the latest microphone technologies: from an ultra-light diaphragm to backplate polarization, providing outstanding transient response and frequency-independent polar pattern. These features enable innovative placement methods that use fewer microphones and provide a more uniform sound across the entire choir or orchestra.
