AKG CU 700 is a fast charger for the transmitters of the AKG DMS 700 wireless system, which quickly charges the rechargeable batteries inside the transmitter without damaging the elements. The CU 700 charger determines the optimal charging current and has a cooling fan to keep the temperature of the elements under control.

Charging stops when both batteries are fully charged. The CU 700 charger uses pulse technology, where a pulse is applied to the battery. This direct current pulse has a strictly controlled rise time, pulse width, pulse repetition frequency (frequency), and amplitude. With pulse charging, high instantaneous voltages can be applied without overheating the battery.
