The ATW-1823D wireless system belongs to the 1800 series of wireless systems. Wireless systems of this series are designed for situations where a portable receiver is needed.
The ATW-1823D wireless system consists of a portable dual-channel receiver ATW-R1820, a bodypack transmitter ATW-T1801, and a handheld microphone transmitter ATW-T1802.

The dual-channel receiver ATW-R1820 has balanced outputs that allow connection to balanced microphone inputs of a video camera, mixer, or amplifier. The compact design of the receiver allows for easy installation on a camera using the provided Velcro tape.
The bodypack transmitter ATW-T1801 is housed in a sturdy ergonomic case. A 3-position sliding cover on the transmitter's control panel prevents accidental power-off or channel switching and provides 3 levels of access to the controls: full access, access to the Power/Mute button, and no access.
