The SR 4500 receiver provides maximum ease of use and the widest selection of features in its class. The precise battery charge indicator is an invaluable advantage for live sound tasks that was previously unavailable. The complete line of accessories makes the SR 4500 the best choice for any application. The HT4500 or PT4500 transmitter uses pilot tone to transmit battery status data to the receiver, which displays the remaining battery charge. The pilot tone decoder also provides recognition and display of other important information, including the current position of the MUTE switch on the transmitter.

Auto-tuning and scanning functions automatically analyze the local RF environment, find used frequency groups, and set frequencies. The optional HUB 4000 Q integrates the SR 4500 into the HiQnet system. With the System Architect software for computers, setting up and monitoring high-complexity systems becomes extremely simple. The logical output provides remote control of external devices, such as an automatic microphone mixer.

Of course, the SR 4500 operates in an extremely wide UHF range (30 MHz), and each frequency preset provides up to 19 channels without intermodulation*. The maximum number of selectable frequencies is 1200. Using multiple frequency ranges allows operating at least 70 channels simultaneously. The large color display with backlighting and rotary switch makes the SR 4500 easy to use, while the programmable LED ring visually displays important system parameters.

Housed in a half-rack metal case, the SR 4500 is the most compact, reliable, and powerful UHF receiver in its price range.

The SR 4500 is fully compatible with its predecessor - the SR 4000. It provides two additional frequency bands in the ranges of 500 - 530 and 570 - 600 MHz, which give you even greater flexibility in multi-channel applications.

The SR 4500 can be integrated into the HiQnet system using the optional HUB 4000 Q. With the System Architect software for PC, the SR 4500 can be remotely controlled and monitored directly from a computer. Setting up and configuring the frequency distribution of the entire wireless system in System Architect is extremely simple, with tools such as RF Monitor, Device Manager, Environment Scan, and Auto Setup.
